STARK RAVEN The NEST thought they had killed him...one of their own...a scientist...a soldier... one of the Dichotomy Elite. 			COBRETTA As a former top N.E.S.T. field operative, Carmen Mejia, a.k.a. Cobretta, was later an investigative officer for Division Zero of the N.E.S.T. Carmen was superbly skilled and trained in numerous forms of martial arts. Those skills were increased after she joined the N.E.S.T. Cobretta also possesses a keen analytical mind for military strategy, tactics, and problem solving. After she questioned the NEST's true motives, she left the agency and became a detective for local law enforcement.
			SCORPION the Grim Ripper Among those in the crime underworld, the name Scorpion strikes fear into the hearts of the most hardened of criminals. However, little is actually known about the background of this chilling individual. There appears to be some connection between Scorpion and the newcomer, Stark Raven, and possibly even, the NEST. Currently, the Scorpion is a freelance assassin, targeting those victims that he deems worthy of his efforts.
				STINGRAYZOR Second-in-command to General Zader, Stingrayzor is not a person to be triffled with. Skilled and educated in various forms of military combat, Stingrayzor ensures that the objectives of the NEST are acheived through whatever means necessary. Already an exceptionally large and powerful individual, Stingrayzor's strength is enhanched through advanced steroids tested by the NEST. In addition, his semi-armored suit and ponytail whip make Stingrayzor a most formidable adversary.
			DEATHJUDGES The Deathjudges appear to be linked to the deaths of the 19 mob leaders, but HOW? The SFPD has no proof of their existence. Only a few frightened mob members have come forward to confess their existence under the tenacious interrogations of Cobretta and Nick Helix, but still...no proof. Another possible link with the NEST and Zader? We will see...
			MERICK VON ZADER General Merick Von Zader is the commander-in-chief of the technological power, the N.E.S.T. Possessing a high level of intelligence himself, Zader persuades other men and women of intellect and scientific prowess to join the ranks of the N.E.S.T. in the hopes of creating a better world for all of mankind.
			LUNACY Lunacy is the seemingly overriding personality among a host of personas within the complex mind of a woman with a mysterious past. Much of her childhood was spent alone in Japan. Eventually, she was found, raised, and trained by members of an old martial arts sect know as th SHIN DIVA. Although she learned their discipline and became a martials arts master, her dark tortured psyche often causes multiple personalities and unpredictable outbursts of emotions.
			DEATHSHADOWS Almost nothing is known about these mysterious beings called "DEATHSHADOWS". Only rumors, heresay, and a few dead bodies lying around give any indication they may even exist. The SFPD speculates there may be a connection between the rumors of the Deathshadows and the equally mysterious "Deathjudges".
			RED MOON Jin...code name RED MOON...is a covert operative for a highly secretive and technolo- gically advanced Japanese agency known as SHALA KI. Highly skilled in the martial arts, Red Moon has a mysterious psychic connection with LUNACY, an operative for the evil Japanese agency, SHIN DIVA. Red Moon also shares a special bond with the man who was to become Stark Raven.
			NICHOLAUS HELIX Nicholaus Helix had previously worked with the CIA (Central Intelligence Agency) as an investigator into some of the questionable projects and funding of the N.E.S.T. Now he works as a plain clothes police officer and detective, teaming up with Cobretta on numerous occasions. "Nick" is an excellent street fighter who is fed up with crime and corruption, and sometimes uses questionable methods in his police work.
			SAI COTTA Sai Cotta, along with her sisters Lunacy and Skizm make up the "Psycho Assassins" of the SHIN DIVA. Highly trained in various martial arts, Sai Cotta is an operative who gets the job done...mercilessly. At times she has been known to exceed her authority even with the Shin Diva, keeping her on shaky ground with Shin Diva leader, DEMA SAI.
			DEMA SAI Leader of the evil Japanese agency, SHIN DIVA, Dema Sai is a true master of many martial art disciplines. Beginning from the age of 3, Dema has studied and trained fighting styles of most all Eastern countries. Displeased with the proliferation of Western influence, Dema Sai hopes to resurrect the traditions and greatness of the nation of his forefathers, even to ally himself with the NEST to serve his purpose.
			SKIZM Skizm, a more subdued personality than her sisters, Lunacy and Sai Cotta, she is equally skilled...and equally deadly...though she does not usually revel in the delight of the killing as does her sisters.dued
			SKELLEN Second-in-Command to Dema Sai, Skellen has spent years under Dema's instruction, and is a top level martial artist with desires of one day even surpassing Dema Sai himself as the "Top Man".
		THE STORY "They wanted my mind.... And when I stood between them and the technology I created... They wanted MY LIFE!!" As a scientific soldier of the N.E.S.T. and FUTURE, the man that becomes STARK RAVEN learned that there were many self-righteous elitist agencies that would cross any line in the name of scientific human advancement. He was subjected to brainwashing to obscure the lines between right and wrong. After he defected with his discoveries in hand, the N.E.S.T. employed "soul washing" in a failed attempt to remove conscience, compassion, and values. After failing to reprogram his will completely, the N.E.S.T. attempted to kill him during the highly classified "Project: Nusol". After taking ten bullets and falling into the middle of the Pacific Ocean, anyone else would have surely died. But N.E.S.T.’s top commanders knew the caliber of the man they apparently killed. Thus, when Stark Raven attacks the N.E.S.T. two years later just when the objectives of Project Nusol are being achieved, fearful rumors begin that their most dreaded enemy has returned. Everyone was sure he died...except those who killed him. As Stark Raven engages in a relentless, hard hitting battle to expose and take down the N.E.S.T., several mysteries unfold, including questions as to the identities of Stark Raven, Scorpion, StingRayzor and the Deathshadows. What dark secrets does Nusol hold? Who killed nineteen mafia leaders? Stark Raven butts heads with and ultimately receives the aid of Cobretta, P.I., and the manic martial arts master, Lunacy, in exposing the N.E.S.T. as having used the Deathshadows to control the mafia.
